Congratulations to Sarah & Dane who were married last Saturday. Their wedding illustrated a point we are always telling brides - don't get too hung up on particular locations & be flexible; anything can (and often will) happen on your wedding day. Sarah wanted to take some photos on the road to Government House, a very popular spot. However last Saturday was the annual prom concert. When we arrived there were cars parked from one end of the road to the other & crowds of people wondering all over the place! Impossible to take the usual photos...... so we tried something completely different instead. As they got married & live around Weston Creek I took them up to Mt. Stromlo with it's beautiful views of the area & we found this burnt out observatory from the bush fires in 2003. Made for some unique shots & something special for their album........
